Must have 3-4 years of experience in grants management

Must be familiar with federal grant programs, foundations and corporate contributors

Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office

Must be able to pass a background check and drug test

Develops and coordinates grant funded programs for the Alabama Coushtta Tribe of Texas with direction from Tribal Administration

Discuss program requirements and sources of funds available with administrative personnel

Confers with personnel affected by proposed program to develop program goals and objectives; outline how funds are to be used and explain procedures necessary to obtain funding.

Works with fiscal officer in preparing narrative justification for purchase of new equipment and other budgetary expenditures

Submits periodic reports to General Manager on progress of programs

Writes grant applications, according to format required and submits applications to funding agency or foundation

Meets with representatives of funding sources to work out final details of proposal

Coordinates evaluation and monitoring of grant-funded programs with Program Director, or writes specifications for evaluation or monitoring of program by outside agency. 

Maintains master files on grants
