The Epidemiologist will promote preventative measures through the community education of Tribal members. Will be responsible for analyzing Tribal data obtained from the clinic's database systems. Compose/write reports including recommendations for action and present report findings for program review and approval.Interpret data results and review reports for accuracy and completeness. Participate in the Tribal Community efforts of initiated projects, as requested by providing information on the project being initiated. Support Programmatic efforts to improve reporting and awareness through preparation of epidemiological fact sheets, reports and brochures. Present information.
Must understand the principals of epidemiology, prevention, coalition building, planning, community development, systems development, program evaluation and community organization.
Masters of Public Health or Masters of Science with an emphasis in Epidemiology, inlieu of MPH an advanced degree wiht a strong emphasis epidemiology adn or biostatistics may be considered.
