Tribal Princess

Debrina Colleen Sylestine was crowned the 41st Annual Tribal Princess for the Alabama-Coushatta Tribe for the 2009-2010.  She is 16 years old and of the Deer Clan.  Her parents are Amon and Deborah Sylestine.  Debrina will be a Junior at Big Sandy High School where she participates in basketball and softball.  A member of the Indian Prebyterian Church, she is active in many youth functions and also a representative for the American Indian Youth Council for her church.

Debrina started dancing at a very young age and continues to dance.  She's also involved in Sign language and Hoop Dance groups which performs at many special functions.  She represented the Alabama-Coushatta Tribe as the Children's Pow-wow Princess.  Her hobbies includes playing piano, readin books, listening to music, meeting and talking with people, and Martial Arts.

Alabama-Coushatta Jr. Tribal Princess

Nicole LeeAnn Langlet is 13 years old and is the daughter of Larry and Terrah Langley.  She has a sister, Stacey (former Tribal Princess) and brother Bo.  She is a member of the Deer Clan.  She attends Big Sandy Jr. High where she is in the 8th grade.  She participates in Basketball and Cross Country.

Her hobbies include playing sports and being with family and friends.  She is a member of the Indian Villiage Assembly of God Church where she is involved in the Stick Ministry.
